City Of Dust

Tuesday June 16th 8pm, when I was in nael’s house, he invited me to have a vacation in a different way. Ok, I agreed with his idea.

So by the Thursday, Nael, Enno and I went to the north, to a city located 65 kilometers far from our hometown. Named Sangatta, or Sengatta (but it rather be Sengatta). I understand now why is it named so, because the town is outrageously HOT. And full of dust.

Arlin and Dio were about going to join with us, but they had a cancellation!
Arlin doesn’t have permission from her father, whereas Dio had to be in his house because no one was there.

No matter what happened, three of us were still insist to go. By 10 am, when the sun started to being hot, we left the town through Lhoktuan(sman3). There were two ways to Sengatta, another way is the further road he said. I thought it was going to be quick to get there. But it wasn’t that quick. It took about 2 hours with average speed at 65 KPH. It would have been faster, IF the road is well-constructed. Ugh, the road is such a meteor-field! Like that was used to be a battlefield whereupon the meteor was rapidly hitting the aforementioned road.

It’s a total damaged road! The local government should have been re-maintained the road. What? they don’t have enough charges?

Ugh, I was riding my CS and enno was with me at first. The road was not only damaged, but also was so dusty. Sands, pebbles, damaged asphalts are everywhere! It was hard to pass through that way, so that we could never be SLOWER. Whenever there’s a better way, we exceeded the speed limits. But not that long, the damaged road would surely be appeared soon after that, and we decreased our speed.

We were hoping to get there in another minute, but it wasn’t that quick. It took exactly two hours, because when I get there I checked out the time and it was 12 pm!

Ok, we had arrived. Sweet Niblet! We went directly to Dofiel’s house. We greeted by a can of sprite. But I didn’t drink that, because it was too chilled. So I kept it at nael’s bag. Dofiel brought us to the good looking place. First we went to a gas station, and then went to KPC area. The town doesn’t have many differences with Bontang, only three things should be noticed.

1. The town was full of dust (we eventually knew where those dusts come from)
2. Heavy trucks are everywhere (we eventually knew what they for)
3. The town was awefully HOT (it was right what Japanese Sensei told to us Sangatta wa atsui machi)

In a KPC area, the road was terrific. A lot better than the road we had at the way Bontang-Sangatta! It is well-asphalted. And we absolutely exceeded the speed limit. No worry, it is totally legal, even we MUST. There’s a sign like this in the road

“what is this place??? this place is so weird!”

And still, the heavy trucks dominate the road. Dofiel said, they transport coal from the coal mining to,,, maybe the factory. The housing in there is totally awesome. So green and well-organized!
We arrived at the aquatic beach. It was good, natural, and probably clean. We spent one hour in there.
And we can see a scenery of mangroves, and a conveyor. a very LONG conveyor, which transport coal from factory to the ship to be ready for shipping... If you want to swim, please see the warning sign of crocodiles, jellyfish, pari fish, and poisonus fish which i don't know their name exactly.

Then we went to the PIT J, where you can see the coal mining drilling a h
uge hole. They make an excellent giant bowl with the black pattern. We saw tiny trucks, but dofiel said, it was 13 meters high. He even said that the tire’s thickness is wider than a saloon car in length.

It was good panorama after all.

We were starving, we went to padang restaurant then. We ate and it was all on dofiel. Thanks for him. The city is totally dusty! We can even hear a symphony of dust in the surface of a glass covered table. It makes painful sound. like "ngiiikkkk...krieeekk..or something"

Enno said she had to be home this dusk, even before the darkness fall. So at 3.30 pm, we went home. Oh my god, do we have to? Again????! No choice… enno was leaving within nael. And I realized that passing road with pebbles without any burden is more horrible. But it’s ok, I played the brake and clutch. I was even not sure that I could be home safely.

After one hours and 40 minutes, the Lhoktuan sign appeared. “ahh, good to be home…good to be home before evening…”

I arrived at home. My jacket was full of dust. I took a bath then, and I really be grateful that I safely got home. Yes remembering that the road was awefully damaged… and my fingers feel a pain. Too much braking and clutching!

AHH, not again! (at least for this time XD)

"oh i forgot my sprite! i left it at nael's bag. awts!!!!"
